Where should we go for our second wedding and our first honeymoon?
Me and my husband are planning our second wedding and our first honeymoon. It will happen summer of 2011 after our actual wedding 10th wedding anniversary. I really want this to be a rocking time for me and my husband. Hubby doesn’t want a beach wedding, go on a cruise, or leave the continental united states. We’re open to suggestions or locations. Please no rude answers, thank you.

I am planning a wedding for Nov. 20th 2010 so I know a little what you are going through, except this is my first.
From my experience though I remember my aunt and uncles first wedding almost 10 years ago and on their 5 year anni. They got re-married and went on their first honeymoon.
They had their second wedding in a big open field that had nothing around for what seemed like miles. They had a couple huge tents set up and an area set up for the ceremony. They catered in food from one of their favorite resturants and hired a DJ. They had their family and friend and were more relaxed because, hey they had already done it one. They also had a small wedding cake and then a huge dessert bar when frankly was better because there was something for everyone.
They were able to have the music up as loud as they wanted and couple keep it going forever. She also changed into a shorter white “party” dress after the ceremony which was a more sexy dress verses her first traditional dress. She said that being able to be relaxedd and have things really open and fun was a million times better than her first wedding.

P.S. They went to tennessee for their honeymoon and rented a cabin for a week, they visited a couple dinner shows, went shopping, went on a few hikes and things like that.

What costume would be the most girly and fun to dress up as?
I’m planning on cross dressing for Halloween. My choices are Hooters girl, Tinkerbell, Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, Alice in Wonderland, or the Black Swan? I want to get my girl on. Should I go all out and wax/shave, get the nails done, and get the makeup done professionally?

Please do not wear a skimpy sexy outfit. I won’t work. People will not find it sexy or funny. You need to something funny.
For instance go as a beauty queen contestant who loses. Wear a sash that says “Last Place”. Wear a beautiful pageant gown, wig and tiara. But wear large boots, and go flat chested. Or wear a skinny bra that looks like skinny ice-cream cones sticking out of your chest.

Can someone help me with a Mamma Mia Costume?
I am doing a piano contest and they say we have to dress up for our piece. I am playing “I have a dream” by abba and mamma mia. Should I go for the 80′s look or should I go for the more following wedding dress look? I might also be playing lay on your love one me

Because you’re playing Abba, you have to go retro.
Well you could go on a wedding dress which is appropriate for the Mamma Mia but you will also be playing another Abba song. So I think it would be better if you choose an all-white flashy retro costume which can be in combinations-
*Knee high boots, cute skirt, top
*Knee high boots, short dress
*Or a sexy retro pants, white closed shoes, and top (if you’ve got the abs then might as well show it off tie your shirt along the midriff)
There are your choices, and it depends upon which of which are available.
Why all-white? So you can put on a pretty bride veil while you play mamma mia and just take it off in time for the other song.

What type of dress would work best for my body/skin tone?
I’m doing some shopping for my cousin’s summer wedding and I’m lost as to what would work best for me.
I’m petite and small framed, but I have wide hips and I’m pear shaped.
I have really fair skin tone and I have reddish brown hair.

I wore a lacy blue thong that said “bride” In crystals on the hip…and then I wore a white satin bustier. My husbadn thought it was amazing..he was so sad I didn’t let him go at it as soon as I took my dress off…but when I got out of that dress I just wanted to shower so bad.

What to wear to a yacht wedding held in September?
I am going to a wedding in mid-September and it is going to be held on a yacht. On the info site for their wedding they said “Dress will be country club/ yacht club/ beach club, not overly formal but not quite ‘casual’ either.” So, should I wear like a casual dress, or could I wear a high-waist skirt with a nice top?

I think either a dress or high-waist skirt with top would be fine. If you’re in doubt, err on the side of caution and dress slightly fancier rather than more casual. It is a wedding so even if you’re a little overdressed it isn’t as noticeable than if you’re the person who looks underdressed.
The other thing I would suggest is to bring a shawl or cardigan to put over your outfit. If the wedding is held on the deck of the yacht, it will likely be windy and you might be a bit cold. September weather is always difficult to predict so better to be safe than sorry. Chattering teeth aren’t sexy!
