Your Questions About Hot Fitness
Helen asks…
How can I work out with sore muscles? important…?
Today at 2:00, I have an IFA (Initial Fitness Assessment).
It consist f 50 situps and 42 pushups.
but my muscles are still really sore from working out on Saturday (I may have overworked myself), any ideas on what to do? can i still perform the IFA? Does muscle soreness limit you?
Ramesh Klinkert answers:
Actually yes that may give you a set back, but what you can do is take a hot bath and rub your muscles under direct hot water, on the places you feel sore, then after the bath put some (deep heat) lotion on these places…in the morning you’ll feel much better..
Hope this helps !

What i do for football is after i put it in i try to remember how far back it went and then from the i just got a knife or some scissors and cut off where i believed it needed to be it might feel weird at first but you will get use to it.
You could all ways boil it for a bout 10 seconds cauton may be hot but but it in and bite it and it will take the form of your teeth giving you more comfort.
John asks…
Are the Rugby League Trial Matches Important To You?
Is anyone planning on going to a few Trials? Do you place much importance in Trial form or results?
I think it’s still too hot for intensity, so how can Coaches really gauge their rookies’ abilities?
Also .. do you think that the Clubs should charge fans to watch the Trials?
Opinions ….. ?
Ramesh Klinkert answers:
The results really are meaningless, with the exception of games like the Charity Shield. Trial form does not always transform into season form. Almost every year you see a team either win all three of their trial matches and then have a horrible season, or lose all three of their trial matches and then go on to have a good season.
I do think they are a necessary part of a season’s preparation for the clubs however. They give the players a chance to ‘blow out the cobwebs’ and try a few moves they’ve been working on over the offseason, to see if they actually work on opposing teams who have not seen it before.
To use a cricket analogy, if a cricketer does all their practice in the nets they might develop some bad habits like hitting their square shots arial. That might creep into the game because they don’t have fielders there in the nets. They also need open-wicket practice to ensure this doesn’t happen.
The same is true for rugby league. All the strength and fitness work they do in the offseason comes to nothing if they can’t tackle or handle the ball. And trials give them the opportunity to practice these skills in a match situation with opposing players who are not in their squad, whose style they may not know inside-out, just as they are going to once the season starts. These trials ensure the teams are ready to hit the ground running in Round 1.
As for the clubs charging fans, they should not be charging fans anywhere near as much as they would to watch a premiership match, however a charge of something like $5 is understandable.
It’s also a good opportunity for the clubs to go to the country towns, and places they don’t normally play their games. It’s important for the clubs to realise they have fans outside the main centres, outside the towns where the clubs are based and to acknowledge them by playing trial matches in different locations.

What are different versions for the word hot?
I know that in North America we use the word hot
“That guy is hot”
Also the british version for hot is fit
“That guy is fit”
Is they’re other versions of the word hot
Ramesh Klinkert answers:
In the u.s. The term is usually used to describe a person’s appearance. It can simply mean attractive, or it means sexy, or “awesome looking” it can be used to describe fitness, but often refers to fitness equals sex appeal. Like all slang, it is in the eye of the beholder and in the mouth of the describer. You can use hot to describe popularity of the times. Celebrities and public figures are often described as hot when they become very sought after for roles or appearances. Successful people of note are also described as hot by the media. It is very complex and varies with a person’s choice of vocabulary.
Robert asks…
Could you give me a good WALKING exercise regimen on a treadmill fit for a 14 year old female?
I usually gain weight over the summer because it’s too hot to go out, but I’m going to be using a treadmill.
So how far should I walk?
At what speed?
How often?
I would also really appreciate any other advice you could give me (not on my diet, just the exercise).
Ramesh Klinkert answers:
I do 30 mins everyday….I put my treadmill up to an high incline and every 4 mins bring the incline down a level that way I am working harder to begin with at a slower rate and getting easier with higher walking rate to help keep heart beat up. I read it in Fitness Magazine.
