I agree! When someone is really muscular, it turns me off. I like abs, but only if they look natural. (:

Ruth asks…
i need fitness help (girl/active boys) only?
so im working on my abs and im 12 how many days should i work out and how many (minutes/hours) a day and is is true you need meat and turn that in to muscle and when you work out do you need to do alot and when is hurts you need to keep going or stop when you working out on abs
Ramesh Klinkert answers:
Meat well sorta. You need the protein from meat so if you weigh 120 pounds, you need to eat 120 grams of protien aday cause that is what muscles feed off and you recover faster from your workouts. But wanting a good set of abs, i would say 3 sets of 20 situps and 3 sets of 10 kickups would be pretty good like 4 days a week. Kickups is where you lay on your back and one of your buddies stands over you with his feet right beside your shoulder and then you will grab his ankles and kick your geet up the air that works great it works your lower abs and crunches will work your upper abs. That will light up your abs
George asks…
Flat belly and better abs for a 15-year-old?
What are some good exercises I can do to flatten my belly, or at least get rid of some of the little bits of extra fat around my lower tummy and sides? And…is there anything I can do for better-ish abs? I mean, I’m fit, for a 15-year-old girl, but I just wanna look my best, you know? There’s nothin wrong with looking your best.
Ramesh Klinkert answers:
Sit ups and crunches focus on your stomach although to tone your muscle and lose fat id recommend taking up cardio like swimming or running as this will tone your body all over and still give you those abs you want.
In regard to sit-ups and crunches you should start off slowly at maybe 5 sets of 10 a day for a week then 5 sets of 15 for a week then 5 sets of 20 for a week etc.. Until you have the abs you want then maintain that lvl of workout.
With the cardio you should aim for 1-2 hours a week depending on your current weight and fitness lvl and whether you get a lot of exercise naturally. I.e sporty etc.
Im going to assume you have a healthy diet already as you are already in pretty good shape but maybe cutting down on saturated fats a bit and making sure you eat enough vegetables and drink a lot of water
also exercises like yoga and pilates will help tone your abs. You should also vary your cunches and maybe do oblique-crunches and reverse crunches to work out different parts of your abs
Richard asks…
The best workout you can do at home for toned abs? besides crunches….?
I want a workout I can do on my spare time without any equipment which will tone my abs. I dont have any flab or anything my stomach looks flat but I feel jiggly lol. I just want some definition not looking for any washboard abs.

I can’t look at the links atm but I’ll describe the ideal body for me..
Well first off, body is not the first thing I look at, and if a guy doesn’t have a nice face he can’t be attractive to me, regardless of his body.
I like guys who are slim with nice, but not big, muscles. So nice biceps and a flat stomach or abs. Broad shoulders are always hot, but not if he has chicken legs, then it just looks disproportionate. The big thing for me is that I huge muscles disgust me. If a guy has popping veins and a 12 pack, that’s just too much and it’s a huge turn off.
So basically, an athletic, toned body is the best. It shows that the guy cares and is in shape, but hasn’t dedicated his entire life to working out.
